CT Real estate market Report 2021

The Connecticut spring market is in full force! Buyers continue to compete over limited home inventory, pushing prices ever higher!

Connecticut home sale prices reached a record median high of $305,000 in April 2021 - the strongest April on record ever, and a 25% jump in a year:

Homes are moving faster than ever! Homes in CT are currently selling in just 24 days!

Inventory is starting to increase! While there is still a shortage, more sellers are listing again, with April levels starting to approach pre-pandemic levels:

So what's up  next? While we are currently reaching new heights in market history, a look back shows a recurring cycle since 1975: What goes up, must come down!

We never actually know when we've hit the peak until its passed. If you're in it for the long term, you'll be fine! But if you've been looking for the right time to sell, this is most definitely it!
