After peaking in 2006 at $260,000, Ansonia, CT home sale prices  dropped a whopping 40% to a low of $154,000. But Ansonia, CT sales prices have been climbing up ever since and are approaching a decade high! 

Ansonia median sales prices in 2018 are at a 9 year high at $192,000:

This is certainly great news for Ansonia home owners overall. However, for those who bought or refinanced their homes near the peak of the market, prices are still 26% below the values seen near 2006. Though upward movement has been consistent, many are still struggling with negative equity. There are certainly options for those who need to sell but lack the equity to get out of the loan.
