Like most of Connecticut, New Haven sellers can finally rejoice that the market continues on strong in 2019, despite a slow beginning to the year.

The first two months of 2019 show slightly fewer sales than previous years:

Days to sell are also up a bit in 2019 as homes are sitting just a bit longer:

2019 is starting off a little bit slower than we have recently seen, but as it is early in the year and weather has not been cooperative, there seems to be no need for alarm.

THE GREAT NEWS:

New Haven, CT median home sale prices are up to a decade high in 2019, with year over year appreciation at well over 10%!

Rising home values have also helped sellers regain some of their lost equity, and the rate of foreclosures and short sales is down to a 5 year low in 2019:

Looks like it may be another great year for hopeful New Haven home sellers!
