As we head towards end of year, the Fairfield, CT single family home sales market is starting to slow down. After hitting its yearly peak in early summer, marketing times are headed up, and prices are slowing down slightly:
Median days for single family homes to sell is up to 85 days this year, while median sales prices are down to $429,000. Such seasonal changes are always predictable, however the good news for Fairfield homeowners is that 2017 presents a small but positive change with median sales prices up 6% from the same time last year.
