After years of failed efforts to keep her home, and with less than 2 weeks away from her foreclosure law day, this Branford, CT homeowner reached out to me for a last minute attempt to avoid the foreclosure with a short sale.

Short sales generally take 4-5 months or even longer at times so the clock was ticking and we had to move fast!

The home went on market immediately and priced to sell! Within days a bidding war broke out and we soon secured a very strong buyer. Provident (the lender) is generally very quick and easy to work with, but to my surprise, they issued an approval in a record breaking 3 days!

With a short sale approval in hand, the judge delayed the foreclosure date, giving us enough time to close the sale, which we did just over two weeks later!

With years of mortgage payment struggles finally behind her, this Branford seller walked away from her burden home, fully forgiven of all the remaining debt to Provident, and with a $3,0000 relocation check to boot!
