Milford, CT has been quite a seller’s market for the last few years, but is the market finally shifting?

While May 2019 seems to have been a busy month for sales, the overall number of homes sold is actually down 15% this year versus the same period 2018:

What about Milford home sales prices?

The bad news for sellers doesn’t end there. Single family home sale prices in Milford, CT are also down almost every single month of 2019 versus 2018, a 4% drop total in the median sales price:

What does that mean for my Milford home sale?

It’s a bit early to say for sure, as the year is only reaching the halfway point. It could be a slow start to what will ultimately be another fantastic year for sellers, or it could be the beginning of a shift that finally gives buyers the upper hand again!  Either way - If you want to sell your Milford, CT home it's time to prep for a more competitive market!
