West Haven, CT residential sales prices are at a six year high as home marketing time drops to decade low in 2017
After bottoming out in2015 at a median sales price of just $150,000, sales prices have quickly been rising over the last two years. Significant buyer demand, coupled with decreasing inventory in the last few years has pushed the current median sales price in West Haven up to $167,250:
Homes have been selling in a median of just 38 days on market this year, due to limited inventory being absorbed at an ever increasing rate. The trend over the last two years certainly looks promising for West Haven homeowners!
Despite the latest developments, West Haven prices are still far below the values reached at the peak of the market, leaving many still struggling with negative equity. There are options for those who need to sell, but lack the equity to get out of the loan. And for those who have the time to wait it out - looks like things are headed your way!
