It's been a few good years for New Haven County home owners and the market is headed off to a great start in 2020!

THE GOOD NEWS FOR NEW HAVEN COUNTY SELLERS

Year to date sales of New Haven County homes are up to their highest point in a decade in 2020:

Home sale prices in New Haven County just keep climbing! The current median sale price for the period is also at a decade high at $195,000:

THE NOT SO GOOD NEWS FOR NEW HAVEN COUNTY SELLERS

New Haven County homes are staying on market longer than previous years, and the days to sell keeps climbing. This could be just a slow start to the year, or a sign of a drop in buyer demand:

While the market in New Haven County has been improving significantly and is at a decade high, the market still has not fully recovered the last real estate bust and home sale prices are still 15% below those seen in 2006:
