Hamden, CT short sales still running steady in 2017.

After peaking in 2013 where short sales made up 7% of residential sales, short sales in Hamden have dropped to a more steady average of 3-4% of all sales for the past several years, accounting for 20-30 of all home sales yearly:

Hamden, along with most of Connecticut has been very slow to recover value wise since our last real estate crash, leaving many homeowners still underwater as home sales prices have not risen significantly. The market has turned to favor sellers slightly more, but if you're waiting for any significant appreciation, you may be waiting a while.

Reid Real Estate Group specializes in New Haven County short sales and has helped many Hamden homeowners get out of their underwater homes.
